Masuk students and staff really brought their spirit for day two, Theme Day!! Between the bright neon colors from freshman to the camo of seniors, the day had a wide range of outfits for the day.
If a stranger had walked into school today, they wouldn’t have known where to look. Freshman brought their spirit with neon colors like pink, blue, yellow, and orange. Definitely the brightest people in the hall, they were easy to see with construction vests, neon clothes, and even the occasional tutu. There were even a few students with lights and face paints to show their spirit.

Sophomores took pajamas to another level with onesies, sets, and even the occasional stuffed animal. The ease of a pajama theme was clear throughout the sophomores with a large majority dressing on theme. There were pineapple onesies, matching sets galore, and even a weighted unicorn seen being carried around. Even if they didn’t go all out, many were seen in pj pants and their own version of comfy clothes.

Juniors were the heroes of the day sporting a variety of superhero logos and outfits. We saw people dressed as superman, batman, and even the occasional catwoman. Many were able to participate with just simple t-shirts, but others took it even further with full outfits of heroes and villains.
Finally, if you could see them through the camouflage, the seniors were decked out in their traditional camo gear with outfits as simple as the masuk shirt or as extravagant as full camo suits. We saw people get creative with the senior shirts with some cropped, some layered with long sleeves, and even the occasional one that was cut in the back. If you were able to spot them, we also have a few seniors go above and beyond with full camo uniforms and a variety of hunting suits.

I think it’s safe to say that a larger group of people definitely decided to participate in theme day today, with the ease of neon and pajamas, the tradition of camo, nobody wanted to be left out from the fun. Tomorrow we will see the grades battle it out in “Color Wars” and see how far some are willing to take it. Seniors are in black, juniors in blue, sophomores in camo, freshmen in purple, and staff in pink.
