Kayce Lewandowski, an artist for “Design Sinful”, paints a mural on the wall of Mi Scusi Italian Deli. “They’re actually opening next month, so they hired me for this,” Lewandowski said. The deli, located right by the Trumbull border, previously was a barbecue joint. Lewandowski’s mural features a city illustration reflecting the idealized Italian landscape. Mi Scusi is set to open later this month, bringing a new Italian-American deli to the area, just fifteen minutes away from Masuk High School.
