April Fools has taken place at Masuk, and with every year, the school was covered in fish. Not just any fish though. Every year, paper fish from the French department fill the school from top to bottom. Walking through the halls, you may find them on the floor, or on the back of students hoodies, courtesy of the French students. “As a French student, poisson d’avril(April Fools Day) is fun activity; you can joke around with others and it’s harmless. You color a fish, cut it out, and tape it on someone’s back without them knowing it was you. It’s a fun prank to play on friends and family,” said sophomore Miley Belizaire.

Extra special, but the French Club placed fish all over the cafeteria, where you could exchange them for candy during each lunch wave. “The French club turned poisson d’avril into a fun game, so we had to do a scavenger hunt for fish and every fish you find gets you one candy. Personally, my friends and I enjoyed it looking for fish before the others and sharing candy from the fish we had collected as a group,” said Belizaire. This April Fools was for sure a fun one!
