On February 12, Masuk Girls Basketball hosted Senior Night in an exciting matchup against Joel Barlow High School. Seniors Maddie Farrer, Grace Shepphard, Emma Troesser, and Abby Troesser were recognized before tip-off for their dedication and leadership over the years. The ceremony also included heartfelt speeches from the underclassmen, who shared their appreciation and highlighted the impact the seniors have had on the program.
The underclassmen decorated the gym with posters, chalk messages, and balloons, creating a strong display of school spirit. A crowd favorite was the collection of “fat heads” in the stands—especially the oversized cutout of Coach Young, which added some fun to the atmosphere.
From the start, the game was competitive and close. Both teams battled throughout, keeping fans engaged until the final seconds. Although the Panthers fell 43–47, the energy in the gym and the recognition of the seniors made it a memorable night for Masuk Girls Basketball.
