REDDING, CT – Students from the Masuk High School Unified Sports Team recently participated in the 2nd Annual Unified Homecoming Dance. The dance, which was organized by the Joel Barlow High School Unified Sports Team, was held in Redding.
Several area high school Unified Sports teams attended the dance. Music was provided by Masuk High School Professional Educator Joel Castillo. Everyone in attendance learned popular party dances and participated in a Limbo contest.
Food and a Picture booth were also available.
According to Masuk Unified Sports Head Coach Donald Casey Jr., “Everything, including food, music, hospitality from the Joel Barlow Unified Sports Team and seeing students from every school interact with each other were all A+! This Unified Homecoming Dance was so much fun and an excellent example of inclusion at its very best! Thank you to Monroe resident and Head of School at Joel Barlow, Dr. Mario Almeida, for inviting the Masuk Panthers to this awesome event!”
