On December 20th, 2025, The Monroe Summer Orchestra will be performing a bonus winter concert, “Holiday Lights: Special Winter Edition” at 7:30pm, Masuk High School!
This rehearsal, they not only had the full orchestra rehearsing, but also had three groups playing their own pieces, and everything is seasonal.
The orchestra is made up of everyone from the Monroe community, as long as they want to play. Starting with the hopes of a small group, the orchestra soon became.
Founders Ananad and Avinash Veeraraghav said, “After the success of the summer concert we saw how many people had come, and how many donations had come in, and thought maybe just maybe we could do a winter concert, because there was interest in the orchestra.”
The concert is free of cost, but donations are appreciated. Come to see the orchestra play for a wonderful, holiday-themed night out!
