On Thursday, January 29, junior Sydney Lampley hosted a Masuk girls basketball pasta party the night before the team’s game against Brookfield. The gathering gave players a chance to eat, hang out, and reset outside of practice before game day.

The team shared a pasta dinner and stuck to one of their usual traditions: playing the card game Spoons. The competitive game sparked plenty of laughs and kept the night moving, helping the team unwind while still spending time together.

Senior Emma Troesser said events like the pasta party play an important role in building team chemistry. “Nights like this help bring us together,” Troesser said. “It’s easier to connect when we’re all just hanging out, and that carries over onto the court.”

The pasta party gave the team a low-key way to spend time together and stay connected as they prepared for their matchup against Brookfield.
