Masuk High School’s football team hosts Joel Barlow tonight for its first home game in several weeks. The Panthers enter the matchup with a 4-3 record, while Joel Barlow stands at 3-4. Tonight’s theme is blackout, and students are encouraged to wear black to show support in the stands. Despite the forecast calling for a cold night, students and fans are still eager to return to Benedict Field to cheer on the team. The excitement around campus has been building as players, cheerleaders, and the dance team prepare for the game. Pictured is senior dance team member Georgia Simmons, who wore her uniform to school for game day. “There’s always a great energy at home games,” Simmons said. “Dancing in front of our crowd is something I really look forward to.” Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. as Masuk looks to secure another win at home.
